The Danish company has now entered into an agreement with ASOS.com and from February 2012, Gardenia’s shoes will be available for purchase on the successful webshop.  The Head of Buying for non clothing at ASOS.com noticed Gardenia’s shoes during a trip to Berlin. She took contact to Gardenia’s British agent and came to see the SS12 Collection. She was very excited about it, especially Gardenia’s flat sandals, which she found perfect for the coming season.  This resulted in ASOS placing an order of 11 styles including colours. An exclusivity agreement was made that ASOS can choose their own colours on some selected styles. These colours will only be sold at ASOS.com   At Gardenia the expectations for AW12 are high due to the fact that ASOS has shown great interest in Gardenia Copenhagen as a boot brand. ASOS is fully aware of the success that Gardenia has had on their home market. The brand has sold really well in the exclusive British shops such as Poste Mistress, Harvey Nichols and Whistles.  ”We are proud that ASOS has shown such a great interest in our brand. It is very important for us to be represented at ASOS.com, and we hope that this will create even more attention on the Gardenia Copenhagen brand internationally,” says Allan Gutkin, CEO at Gardenia.
